Graveside services for Mrs. Audrey Estelle Lynch, 85, of Mexia were held Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana. Pastor Rita Burleson, of Heart of Texas Bible Fellowship officiated. Mrs. Lynch was born August 4, 1920 in Kirvin to W.W. and Ella Mae Lightfoot Miles and passed away on September 1, in Mexia Hospital. She was a homemaker and lived in Freestone and Limestone Counties most of her life. She is survived by a son, D.W. Lynch of Amarillo; daughters and sons-in-law: Margaret and James Gill of Tyler, Geri and Gene Hudnall of Mexia, Cheryl and Mark Cox of Groesbeck; grandchildren: James and Darrell Ivison, Chuck Florence, Teresa Henderson, Kristi Smith, Jenifer Sparks, Ginger Day, Shane Lynch, Amanda Lynch, Elisabeth East, Sarah Cox; a number of great-grandchildren; and sister: Opal Lamb of Waxahachie; and daughter-in-law Rosemary of Cedar Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Derwood Lynch, in 1964 and a son, Roger K. Lynch in May 1983. Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
