Bio

Frank Knebel was born in the village of Velke Kuncice, Moravia, in the Empire of Austria-Hungary (currently the Czech Republic and the village is now called Kuncice pod Ondrejnikem). He was the fourth child of Frantisek V. and Anna Kasparek Knebel. The exact date of immigration is unknown, but it is believed the family arrived in Texas in late 1873. They settled in Dubina, Fayette County, Texas.
