Bio
Cecile T. Sefcak, 82, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Yuma Life Care Center. She was born September 7th, 1924 in Childersburg, Alabama. She moved to Yuma in 1951 with her husband, U.S. Army Major Edward J. Sefcak and lived here until 1958 when they were transferred to Ft. Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. In 1960, Major Sefcak retired from the Army and they came back to Yuma to trade the snow for the sand. She was employed with Civil Service for four years before becoming a devoted stay at home mother and wife. Her husband was a Project Engineer at YPG. Ce is survived by her sons James Sefcak of Yuma and Larry C. Argo of Bonham, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Sefcak; her parents Marshal Thompson and Fannie Thompson. Ce will be cremated in a private ceremony. Her ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Published in The Yuma Sun 31 JUL 2007
