Bio
Troy Dee Vickers, 63, of Terrell, passed away on April 23, 2010. He was born on January 24, 1947 in Tyler, the son of Arthur Alvis Vickers and Ruby Oniebrite (Owens) Vickers. He married Cynthia Darlene Smith in Terrell on June 14, 1969. He owned his own business. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Troy is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Dee Collis and Tracy Nicole Vickers of Terrell; brother, Richard Allen Vickers and his wife Charlotte Sue of Kilgore; sister, Mary Martha Smith of Seagoville; 1 grandchild, Christopher Austin Collis and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, daughter, Ruby Virginia Vickers, twin brother, Roy Lee Vickers ,and brothers, David Vickers and Gene Vickers. His funeral service, under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, Monday, April 26, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the funeral homes chapel. Burial to follow the service at Morrow Chapel Cemetery, Ola. Visitation Sunday night from 6-8 pm with the family. Obit From Goggans F. H. Terrell, TX.
