"Galveston Daily News," 10 October 1988, p. 4 OLLIE L. CRISP Texas City – Ollie L. Crisp, 80, died Friday at Danforth Memorial Hospital in Texas City. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Memorial Chapel of Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, the Rev. David Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City. She was born Aug. 5, 1908 in Coleman County. She was a housewife and a member of the First Christian Church in Texas City. Survivors include her husband, Eugene F. Crisp of Texas City; son, Monroe Crisp, Jr. of Texas City; three daughters, Johhnie Prebilski of Texas City, Ruby Williams of Texas City, Billie Jean Wood of Texas City; brother, Dave Shields of Santa Anna; sister, Minnie Leet of Texas City; six grandchildren, Patricia Grissom of Georgia, Effie Yglesias of California, Rufus M. Cook of Bastrop, La., Nancy Redden of Conroe, Bernard Harryman of Texas City, Carl Prebilski of Texas City; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Carl Prebilski, Bernard Harryman, Gene Redden, Rufus Monroe Cook, Richard Ziegelmeyer and Don Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. W. O'Bryant, Dr. B. W. Hink and Dr. S. Prakash.
