Bio

Raymond Teague was born May 3, 1924 to Samuel Josiah Teague and Florence Ocella McClendon Teague in Megargel, Archer Co., Texas. Part of his childhood during the depression he spent in a children's home. He married Ernestine Tovar Ramirez and had three children: Marie, and two that are still living. He married Eloise Rodriguez on Jan.4, 1952. They settled in Jacksonville, Texas where he was a businessman until he died suddenly. He was buried from First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. He was a very active member in the Rodeo Association in Jacksonville, Texas. He founded H.O.P.E in Jacksonville to help the needy in that community with food and clothes.
