Bio

Thanks to M. Jensen Seggerman #47078678 for the following: Edward J. Bulin, son of James and Rose Hamouz bulin, was born in Milligan, Neb., March 28, 1901. He passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Monday, July 28, 1969, at the age of 68 years and 4 months. At the age of 11, he made his home with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bulin. He attended school in Milligan, graduating with the class of 1919. He attended University of Nebraska two years, later taking employment at the James Bors Garage, where he was a mechanic for many years. After the passing of James Bors in 1943, Ed went into partnership with Mr. Bors' sons-in-law. The partnership was dissolved in 1956 and Ed purchased the Slezak garage, where he continued the Ford dealer business until he semi-retired in 1967. He was united in marriage to Agnes Jezek December 28, 1929. He was a member of the Stotsenberg Lodge No. 43, Knights of Pythias. Survivors are his wife, Agnes; one brother, Albert; seven sisters, Mary (Mrs. Frank Nedom), Emma and Rose; Sister Mary Geraldine, Mrs. James (Alice) Raymond, Ada, and Mrs. Helen Simpson, and several nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, and one nephew, Stanley Bulin. Funeral services were conducted from the Milligan auditorium Friday, August 1, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ernest Horner officiating. Robert Kassik sang "Softly and Tenderly" and "God be with You till We Meet Again," accompanied by Mrs. Milo Kottas. Burial was in the Bohemian National Cemetery, beneath a beautiful blanket of floral tributes. Pallbearers were Henry Bulin, Albert E. Kassik, Milo Kottas, Ronald Krupicka, John Kucera and Melvin Suda. The Nebraska Signal 7 August 1969
