DIED: -- John Treffer, an old and highly respected citizen of this county died at his home in Rockville township last Thursday after a long and severe illness of dropsy. The funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon and he was buried in the Austin cemetery. Mr. Treffer was among the oldest settlers of Sherman County.
