Bio
Della Ruth Harper, 96, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, in Wichita Falls. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Rev. Harvey McMurry, Chaplain of Hospice of Wichita Falls and Rev. Larry Shields, Minister to Senior Adults at Faith Baptist Church, Wichita Falls officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Mrs. Harper had assisted her husband in his automobile business, and also worked at Perkins-Timberlake Department Store, Joe Pistocco Auto Dealership, and City View Tax Office. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Smith of Wichita Falls; one son, Richard of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday for visitation. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Fund at Presbyterian Manor, 4600 Taft, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76308; or Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76310.
