Diane Marie (Praslicka) Ramsey, 52, formerly of Waxahachie and Tyler, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2011 after a lengthy and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born February 26, 1958 in Waxahachie, Texas to Stanley and Ann Praslicka. She was a graduate of Waxahachie High School and worked for TU Electric for 26 years in Dallas, Athens and Tyler. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Lopez & husband Aaron of Dallas; Two grandchildren, Makenzie and Isaak; 3 sisters: Frances Mangan of Cedar Hill, Kathleen Bowen of Katy, Karen Brasovan of Aledo; a brother, Gene Praslicka of Waxahachie and numerous nieces and nephews. As a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Diane leaves behind a legacy of compassion and love. She had the ability to make friends no matter what the situation or where she was. She was a kind, loving and compassionate person who always thought of others instead of herself. She blessed all those around her with her wonderful sense of humor. She was a strong spirit and an amazing soul that positively touched many peoples lives. She could light up a room and people always felt better when she was around. She will be missed greatly. Services to celebrate Diane's life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie. Graveside services will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetary.
