South Kansas Tribune, Wed., Aug. 11, 1920 Mrs. Etta Mason, well known in the Bolton district, widow of the late Edward Mason, died Friday last in the West Side hospital, having suffered two years with cancer on the liver—but confined to her bed only six weeks. She was aged 60 years and is survived by a sister, Emma Mason, and ten children: Mrs. B. H. Lindley of this city; William Mason, Tyro; Ira Mason, Bolton; Mrs. Stella Gerber, Augusta; Delia White, north of the city; James Mason, Bolton; Henry Mason, Sedan; Mrs. Opal Overstreet, southeast of city; Mrs. Marie Newman, Jefferson; Mrs. Anna Barker, Bolton. The funeral was held at Bolton, Sunday, in the Friends church, and Rev. Mr. Wilson of Jefferson preached the sermon and interment in old Harrisonville cemetery among the friends of the past forty years.
