Bio
Louise Ann Herbaugh, 68, died Thursday March 10, 2011 at her home in Hemingford. She was born on June 24, 1942, in Alliance to Leslie and Mary Ann (Matousek) Prochazka and resided northeast of Hemingford. Louise attended Hemingford High School and graduated in 1959. She and her husband, Emerald Eugene "Bud" Herbaugh were married in Rushville in 1963 and enjoyed over 46 years of marriage. They formed a local construction firm and later retired to a small farm. Louise enjoyed gardening, baking, family activities, and all precious moments spent with her grandchildren. She was known for her generous spirit in helping others. Survivors include her daughter Jenny, grandchildren Luke Evans of Fort Collins, CO and Krystal Evans (Littleton, CO) mother Mary Ann (Hemingford), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her father Leslie Prochazka, husband, Emerald Eugene, and sister Barbara (Foley). Burial was in the Hemingford Cemetery, Hemingford, NE.
