Fischer Private Co H. 211th Pennsylvania Vols Personally came before me a Notary Public in and for the aforesaid County and State Peter S. Fischer aged 51 years, citizen of the town of 733 Napoleon Street, Johnstown County of Cambria, State of Pennsylvania well known to me to be reputable and entitled to credit and who, being duly sworn, declares in relation to aforesaid case, as follows: That he was present at the marriage of Charles C. Fischer and Mary Fischer nee Smith, at Charles Smith her father in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania on April 22nd, 1866. They were married by S. J. Cover, Justice of the Peace in and for the Township of Conemaugh, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Know that neither were ever married prior to their marriage to each other and were never divorced but lived together as man and wife until the death of Charles C. Fischer on November 10th, 1902 at 327 Water Street, Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This is his own oral statement as written for him by Frank H. Singer, Notary Public Signed Peter S. Fischer
