Rosanne J. Woita, age 83, of Fremont, NE died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Arbor Manor in Fremont. She was born November 27, 1927 in Wahoo, NE to Joseph and Frances (Styskal) Konecky. She grew up on a farm near Ithaca and graduated from Wahoo High School. She worked at Nebraska Ordnance Plant at Mead as a stenographer. In 1945 she moved to Fremont and worked for Elkhorn Valley Finance Co for 4 years. She later worked at Schweser's Department Store. Rosanne Konecky married Richard Woita September 30, 1947 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Women. Survivors include: Husband – Richard; daughters – Geralyn Morris of Papillion, NE, Diane and husband David Brunmeier of LaVista, NE, Karen Coop of Lincoln, NE and Mary and husband Steve Cline of Lincoln, NE; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Parents; son – Steve Woita; and sister – Dorothy Bogenreif. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 A.M., Saturday, July 2, 2011 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. Father Dave Belt will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 3-8 P.M. with family receiving friends 6-7:30 and a Vigil Service/Rosary at 7:30 P.M. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church Saturday. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, St. Patrick's Elementary Building Fund or Odyssey Hospice of Fremont.
