PFC US Army, Vietnam ************************* William S. "Bill" Angelo, 72, of Jacksonville, died Sunday morning, Dec. 17, 2006, at his daughter's residence in Jacksonville. He was born March 31, 1934, in Jacksonville, the son of Frank L. and Ida ae Butcher Angelo. He married Marian Scott in 1956, in Jacksonville, and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, William (wife, Laura) of Belleville, Mark (wife, Diane) of Cedar Bluffs, Miss., and Michael of Nortonville; one daughter, Karen White of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, Heather Angelo, Billy Angelo and Misty Angelo, all of Belleville, Chantel White and Alanda White, both of Jacksonville, Amber Angelo of Mississippi and Heath Angelo of North Carolina; three great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Day Johson of Joliet. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Bud (surviving wife, Gladys of Jacksonville) and Alfred; and two sisters, Betty Barber and Dorothy Burris. Mr. Angelo worked for the City of Jacksonville Street Department, retiring in 1996. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany and a member of V.F.W. Post 1379. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or C.O.P.D. Support Group at Passavant Area Hospital. Cody and Son Memorial Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
