Bio
Daughter of František Opalecký and Marie Mrázová. An alternate spelling of the surname Opalecký is V'Opalecký (Vopelecky). Married the widow August Kostelecky Sr. in Manhattan, NYC on 17-FEB-1895. ∼ Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from St. Mary's church for Mrs. Anna Kostelecky, 87, who passed way Feb. 22 at Ingleside, Nebr. Rev. Michael Szczesny officiated at the services. - Pallbearers were Joe Hosek, John Kokes, Major Gates, Alvin Kosmicki, Ernest Kotre and Mike Woracek. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, where her husband was also buried. (obituary) Anna Vopalecky Kostelecky was born in 1864 at Slivonice, Bohemia. In [1895] she was united in marriage to August Kostelecky, who passed away in 1925. They came to Nebraska in 1904 and located at St. Paul, Nebr., where they lived until 1915 before moving to Sargent.
