Carol L. Bilka, 76, of Bellevue formerly of Sargent passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Sargent. Father Jim Hunt will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Sargent. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Carol Lenore was born April 23, 1941, at Merna, Nebraska to Lawrence Joseph and Juanita Alice (Stroud) Kelly. On August 2, 1960, Carol was united in marriage to Lambert Donald Bilka at Sargent, Nebraska. To this union a daughter, Donna Jo was born. Carol and Lambert started their married life in the military stationed at Offutt AFB, NE, followed by Air Force Base in Texas and Patrick AFB, FL where Lambert retired. They moved back to Sargent, NE. Carol lived in Bellevue, NE with her daughter, Donna, son-in-law, Ronald and granddaughter, Josephine for five years until her passing. Carol loved to cook, sew, and bake. She also enjoyed cake decorating, silverwork and ceramics. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Jo and Ronald Clifford Miller or Ramstein, Germany; two granddaughters, Jessica Lynn (Miller) and Gregory Allan Roseland Jr. and Josephine Anne Miller all of Bellevue; one great-granddaughter, Laura Ashaleigh Bickford of Bellevue; four brothers; a sister; three brothers-in-law; and six sisters-in-law, Bernard L. and Connie Kelly of Lander, WY, William A. and Bonnie Kelly of Clinton, IN, Duane E. and Valerie Kelly of Elwood, Gerald T. and Marilyn Kelly of Cozad, JoAnne E. and Greg Sadler of Callaway, Sharron Kelly of Sargent, Ben Bilka of Hastings and Marvin and Mickey Bilka of Ord; and numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 23 years, Lambert Donald Bilka who passed away on December 29, 1983; a beloved grandson, Ronald William Miller on October 2, 2002; parents-in-law, John J. and Emma R. Bilka; a brother, Larry D. Kelly; and two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Kelly and Jean Bilka.
