Funeral services for Eileen Mary Polasek Rosniak, 67, of Richmond, TX, are set for 10 AM Friday, June 24, 2011, at St. John's United Methodist Church, 400 Jackson Street, Richmond, TX 77469, with Rev. Eric Ryburn officiating. Burial will follow in Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, Rosenberg, TX. Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471. Serving as Pallbearers will be Blair Parker, Blaine Killen, Luckey Reed, Sydney "Butch" Severin, and Jerry Turner, and John Montes. Honorary Pallbearer will be Brandon Rosniak. Mrs. Rosniak was born August 12, 1943, in Fayetteville, TX. She died June 19, 2011, in Richmond, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garlin Polasek and Margaret Slansky Polasek; her husband of 48 years, Will MacDaniel Rosniak; son, Vincent Lee Rosniak; and sister, Margie Cordell. Survivors include her son, Will Rosniak and wife, Leslie, of Richmond, TX; daughter, Faith Parker and husband, Blair, of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Brandon Rosniak of Richmond, TX, and Blaine Killen of Pearland, TX; brothers, Jerry Polasek and Gene Polasek, both of LaGrange, TX; and by her faithful schnauzer companion, Raisin. Eileen enjoyed fishing with her husband, gardening, taking gambling trips with friends, and spending time with her dog and her family.
