Hillsboro Reporter Wednesday, January 8, 2003 MARY SULAK Mrs. Mary Anna Sulak, 83, of Aquilla died Saturday, January 4, at her residence. She was born July 17, 1919 near Aquilla, daughter of Anton and Frances Rothbuear Sulak. She was raised in the Aquilla community and graduated from Aquilla High School in 1938. She attended business school in Dallas. She also lived and worked in Dallas for many years before returning to Aquilla to the family farm in 1987, where she lived with her sister, Mathilda. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Mathilda Zita Sulak, in 1993. She was a Catholic. Survivors include: one sister, Emilia Hannan of Coppell; three nephews; and one great-nephew. Rosary was recited at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery in Abbott. Graveside services followed at 2 p.m. at the cemetery with Rev. Robert L. Strittmatter officiating.
