MRS. DAVID L. FORBIS BURIED IN DALLAS... Mrs. Davis L. Forbis, 55, a native of Lake Victor, and daughter of J. A. Shelby of Buchanan Dam, died Thursday, September 21st, at Dallas after an illness of several months. The former Byt Shelby, Mrs. Forbis was the wife of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company's general staff manager at Dallas, living there since 1948. She was reared at Lake Victor where she graduated from high school. Mrs. Forbis took nursing training in hospitals in Temple and Lubbock. She lived in Sweetwater, Amarillo, and Midland before moving to Dallas. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Janet Johnson of Dallas; two brothers, M. G. Shelby of Lake Victor, and Herschel Shelby of Buchanan Dam; and a grandson, Delmo Johnson III. Services were held at Sparkman's Funeral Chapel in Dallas Friday, September 22nd. Entombment was at Dallas Hillcrest Memorial Park. .........................................................................
