Bio
Diane Chapman, 48, passed away at the Ennis Regional Medical Center on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Diane was born in Ennis, Texas, to Ernest and Louise (Slovak) Krajca, Sr. on August 22, 1962. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School in 1980. She spent most of her life in the Ennis area and in Ellis County. She enjoyed reading and loved to cook. She is survived by sons; Ricky Chapman and Rae Anne Ramirez of Ennis and Brandon Chapman and his wife Chelsey of Ferris; daughter: Ashley Chapman of Ennis; grandchildren: Dakota Chapman and grandchild to be born in December; mother-in-law: Carolyn Chapman of Ennis; brothers: Ernest Krajca, Jr. and Edwin Krajca along with sisters: Ethie Butler, Shirley Trull and Gay Underwood. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ricky Lee Chapman, Sr. in 1997, brother Bob Krajca and father-in-law, Thomas "Buddy" Chapman. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Graveside services will take place on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Palmer Cemetery with Rev. Marty Hill officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
