(01/13/2025) Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, September 16, 1971: 'Mrs. Maggie Adams - Mrs. Maggie Frazier Adams, 48, wife of C. O. Adams, 1200-15th NW, died of illness at home at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Born at Deport, Oct. 24, 1922, she was a daughter of Riley and Leffer Mae Frazier, and was married to Carlton Otto Adams, Oct. 31, 1945. Friends will be received Friday between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. at Gene Roden & Sons funeral home, where chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be made at Woodland. Besides her husband, Mrs. Adams leaves four daughters: Mrs. John T. Allen, Dallas; Mrs. Jerry Jones, Powderly; and Mrs. Joe McCool and Miss Charlotte Ray Adams, Paris; Also 10 grandchildren; a brother and two sisters: Lloyd Frazier and Mrs. Aaron . . .' [rest of information is missing] 'THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, September 19, 1971: 'Adams Funeral - Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Maggie Frazier Adams at Gene Roden and Sons Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. W. T. Dunn officiated, and interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bearers were J. D. McCool, Earnest McCool, Raymond Little, Walter Ford, Ray Hopkins and Bill Taylor. Mrs. Adams, the wife of C. O. Adams, died Wednesday at her home, 1209-15th NW.'
