Bio

William was the son of Stephen Riley Pierce and Perlina Burke of Anderson Co., TX. ∼ Husband of Clemmie (Hudelston) Pierce William Riley Pierce Jul 14, 1876 - Feb 21, 1927 Blooming Grove Man Dies In Hospital Blooming Grove, Texas, Feb. 28. — W. R. Pierce died at the hospital Monday morning, February 21, after being ill for nearly a year with Bright's disease. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church Tuesday with Rev. Archer conducting the services. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. The deceased was a member of the I. O. O. F. Lodge. He is survived by his wife. Services were conducted at the grave by his lodge. The Corsicana Daily Sun - Monday, February 28, 1927
