Margaret Ann Weir Margaret Ann Weir, 66-year-old Whitesboro resident, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 in Denton Community Hospital. Graveside services were held Friday, May 7, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Callisburg Cemetery at Callisburg with Rev. Joe Patterson. Interment was in Callisburg Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home. Born September 9, 1927 in Grayson County, she was the daughter of the late Archie A. Lacy and Ona Mae Viola Springfield Lacy. She married Jack Weir on December 19, 1953 in Gainesville. He preceded her in death February 6, 1993. A member of Assembly of God Church, she was homemaker and owner of a clothing store in Whitesboro, member of the Jack Weir Solid Gold Band for about 20 years, and loved to make quilts. Survivors are a son, Alan Weir of Callisburg; two daughters, Judy Fielder and Kathy Renfro, both of Whitesboro; two brothers, Chester Lacy of Dallas, and Arlie Lacy of Burleson, Texas; four sisters, Pansy Lemons of Whitesboro, Hazel Gray and Mildred Lacy, both of Gainesville, and Malena Stastny of Temple, Texas; four grandchildren, Alyssa Thomas, Jeffery Fielder, Bryan Weir and Brandon Weir; and four great-grandchildren.
