Bio

G. Cameron Scarborough was a superintendent of the Northeast Houston School District. A native of Anderson County, he was a graduate of North Texas State College, South Texas College of Law, and earned his master's degree from the University of Houston. He first joined the Houston schools in 1927 as a teacher of mathematics at Jackson Junior High School. He later served as the principal there and also at Lanier High School. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the Rotary Club, Scottish Rite Bodies, Sons of the American Revolution and the State Bar of Texas.
