Bio

Viola M. Ritchie-Brim, 93, of Sargent died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at her residence. Viola was born Dec. 19, 1917, in Custer County to Charles B. and Anna (Thanel) Wehling. On Oct. 27, 1943, she married Ray Ritchie in Broken Bow. He died March 7, 1964. On Dec. 28, 1970, she married Frank Brim in Sargent. He died Jan. 25, 2002. Survivors are: daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Anne and Boyd Cool of Callaway and Sue and David Fear of Elm Creek; and sons and daughters-in-law, David and Joni Ritchie and Bernard and Cheryl Ritchie, all of Sargent. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Broken Bow, NE. Published in The Grand Island Independent on June 23, 2011
