Richard Masek, 86, of David City, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the Butler County Healthcare Center in David City. Richard was born February 26, 1925, in Butler County, Nebraska to Charles T. and Florence(Kobza) Masek. He attended school through the eighth grade. He loved to farm and farmed his entire life in the David City area. Richard was a proud member of the NRA and the Explorers Outdoor Club of David City. His hobby was making hunting knives. Richard also served in the National Guard for two years. He is survived by his life partner, Rose Dietrich of David City, many friends and his fellow club members
