Son of George Washington and Chloe Davis McAdams Corsicana Weekly Light - September 2, 1971 FAIRFIELD Funeral services were held Wednesday at Capps Chapel for Doyle L. McAdams, who was born Jan. 26, 1883, in Freestone County and died in Fairfield Aug. 24, 1971. The Rev. Thomas Gray officiated, and burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery. He is survived by four brothers, Alvin McAdams and Vernon McAdams of Fairfield, and Jim and Jerry McAdams of Teague; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Watson and Mrs. Ida Chavers of Waco. Pallbearers were nephews Jack McAdams, George McAdams, Bobby McAdams, Judd Brown, Fred Whiteside and Tim Walthall.
