Addie Jeter married Joe Bullock on 25 December 1903. When Joe Ab and Miss Addie Mae Jeter decided to marry on Christmas Day, the minister whom they wanted to marry was preaching in Decatur, Texas, 10-15 miles from Bridgeport. They asked another couple, who wanted to marry at the same time to drive them to Decatur. This couple was Walter Johnson and Miss Electra Thomas. On the way to Decatur, they had to cross two bridges called "Twin Bridges" over the big Sandy River. They met the preacher, returning to Bridgeport, so he stopped right there and married them on the bridge, as they were standing by their buggy. Mrs. J.A. Bullock moved to Young County in 1915. She was converted and joined the Baptist church at an early age. Survived by her husband; five children - J.B. Bullock, O.L Bullock., R.B. Bullock, and Windell Bullock; Mrs. Walter Wells; four grandchildren; four brothers - E.E. Jeter, W.P. Jeter, R.H. Jeter, Perry Jeter; two sisters - Mrs. Sid Payne and Mrs. R.L. Watson.
