Dickie Earl Russell, 70, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Dickie was born November 17, 1940 near Polvadera, New Mexico to Samuel T. and Mable C. (Hardy) Russell. Dickie served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dickie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob Russell. He is survived by his wife of 39 years. Helen Russell; his sons, Verl Russell, Randy Russell and Dickie Russell, Jr.; his brother, Verl Russell; his sisters, Marcelle Russell and Glynda Sims; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
