Daughter of John Robert Orand and Beulah (Massey) Emily married J. B. Ferguson December 21, 1940 in Lovington, Lea County, New Mexico. --------------------------------------- Home in 1930 Precinct 6, Lampasas, Texas, with parents and siblings. Home in 1940 Lampasas, Texas, with parents and siblings. Home in 1950 Lampasas, Texas, with spouse, JAMES, child, and widowed mother. *********************************** The following obit was copied as it was printed in the October 28, 2005 edition of The Lampasas Dispatch Record: "Mrs. Ferguson" "Graveside services for for Frances E. Ferguson, 85, of Lampasas are Oct. 29, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Mrs. Ferguson died Oct. 26, 2005, at Colonial Belle Nursing Home in Bellville. She was born May 10, 1920, in Lampasas, to John Robert and Beulah Massey Orand. She and J.B. Ferguson were married on Dec. 21, 1940, in Lovington, N.M. Mrs. Ferguson was a homemaker and a member of Bend Church of Christ and the Lampasas Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking. Survivors include her husband of Bellville; sons, Larry Ferguson, of Marble Falls, and Mike Ferguson, of Waxahachie; a daughter, Judy Cole, of Bellville; sisters, Margaret Dumas, of Brownsville, and Mavis Hageman, of Canyon Lake; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and one grandchild, Renee Tolbert." ===========================
