Obituary from Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - May 14, 1999: Bessie Leona Welchman Muncey, 88, died Mary 12, 1999 at the Aldercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center in Edmonds, Washington following an illness with Parkinson's Disease. She was born December 2, 1910 in Kimball, Idaho to George W. and Clara May Lake Welchman. On July 22, 1928 she married Marion L. Muncey. She worked at Idaho Potato Growers for approximately 20 years before retiring in the late 1960's. Her husband preceded her in death after 45 years of marriage. She lived in Idaho Falls until 1990 and then moved to Edmonds, Washington. She loved gardening, fishing, camping, cooking, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her two sons, Alan Wayne (Laura) of Layton, Utah, and Lavon Dean (Aljean) of Arlington, Washington; a sisters, Alice Simpson of Dillon, Montana; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
