Calvin Hardison (September 18, 1927 - October 12, 2007) Mr. Leonard Calvin Hardison, 80, of Mexia passed away Friday, October 12, 2007 in Mexia. Mr. Hardison was born September 18, 1927 in Fair Oaks to Leonard and Donie Hardison. He was a farmer and rancher, real estate agent, past employee of the ASCS, and former Limestone County Judge. In his earlier years he enjoyed being an official of area basketball games. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia. Survivors include his wife, Billie Hardison of Mexia, brothers, Jerry and Ray Hardison and sister, Ruby Nell Hitt, all of Dallas, sister-in-law, Bernice Mae Hardison of Baytown and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3 pm Sunday at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia with Rev. Jeff Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Lost Prairie Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
