The Dallas Morning News obit appeared January 4, 1930 AUTO ACCIDENT VICTIM TO BE BURIED AT WACO Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Edwards Catholic Church for Miss Geraldine Ashenhust, 17, who was killed Thursday night when the coupe in which she was riding with five other young persons overturned following a collision at Junius street and Carrell avenue. The services will be conducted by the Rev. P.J. O'Grady, pastor. At 10:30 o'clock the body will be sent by interurban to Waco where burial will take place at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Miss Ashenhust lived at 6012 Junius street. She is survived by her mother, mrs. Agnes G. Ashenhust; one sister, Mrs. W. L. Landwermeyer, and five brothers, Paul H., A.C., Harold T. and John Ashenhust, all of Dallas, and A. F. Ashenhust of Sipe Springs, Comanche County. Before coming to Dallas the Ashenhust family for a member of years lived at Lorena, McLennan County.
