Bio
Corita J. Laughter Frederick, 81, of Orange, Texas, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at her home. Born in Edna, Texas on September 3, 1929, Corita was the daughter of Robert G. and Maudie Stella (Shows) Laughter. She was a member of First Baptist Church Mauriceville and served as a Sunday School teacher for most of her life. She was a Cub Scout Leader, and was PTA President of Jones School with life time membership. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Milton Ray Hayes; and sisters, Neina Mae Farrow and LaVern Dahmer. Corita is survived by her daughters, Deborah Goforth and husband Keet and Teresa Pierce; daughter-in-law, Nancy Hayes; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
