Bio

Born the son of David Benjamin Franklin Knight(1866 – 1905) and Mary Dianna Pruitt Knight (1866 – 1955), he married Harriett Ann Smith (1886 – 1978) and their children were Vernie Kinght (1908 – ), Bonnie Faye Kinght (1909 – 1968), Neva Fay Knight (1913 – ), Harold Knight (1917 – ), Kathleen Knight (1918 – ), and Jackie D. Knight (1927 – ). The family and perhaps even Mr. Knight believed his middle name was different but he was officially named for his grandfather Jesse Carter Farrar Pruitt, his mother's father. Much information on his death certificate was incorrect as a result of family input.
