ANTON MALOCH Gonzales - Funeral services were held Thursday January 2, at 10 a.m. from the St. James Catholic church for Anton, Maloch, who died at the Holmes Hospital at 3:19 p.m. Monday, December 30. The last rites were preceded by a short service at 9:45 a.m. at the Seydler Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter J. Roebrocks, pastor of St. James officiating. Mr. Maloch was born in Czechoslovakia August 11, 1891, the son of Anton and Marie (Ondrusek) Maloch, natives of Czechslovakia. He was married to Emelia Kresta who preceded him in death. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Winston (Mildred) DuBose of Gonzales, and one son, Bennie Maloch of San Antonio. Other survivors include two grandchildren; three brothers, Joe and Louis Maloch of Gonzales; and August Maloch of El Campo; and one sister, Mrs. Frances Kresta of Gonzales. Pallbearers were Freddie Maloch, Julius Kresta, Edwin Boehn, Louis Kresta, Edward Maloch and Albert Kresta, all nephews of the deceased.
