Bio

Curtis was one of seven children born to Dennis Lawrence Magrill and Elmyra Castleberry in Spring Hill, Gregg County, Texas. He was a teacher, administator, and principal with Aldine Independent School District. Magrill Elementary School was named in his honor in 1975.
