Barbara Imogene Thompson, age 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away June 2, 2011. She was born October 5, 1924 in Collin County, Texas to George Wesley and Lillie Ivy (Enloe) Corley. On August 12, 1944 she married Dillon Thompson in Denton, Texas. Imogene was a housewife and a seamstress for Haggar Pant Factory in McKinney. She was a member of Hillcrest Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She is survived by her son, Joe Kenneth Thompson and wife, Kathryn of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Tanya Alice Smith and husband, Gary Don of McKinney, Texas; five grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Jodi Williams, Joe Bryan Thompson, Steve Mahnich and Michael Mahnich; ten great-grandchildren and sister, Sarah Ruth Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillie Corley; husband, Dillon Thompson; brothers, J. B. Corley and Joe Giles Corley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas with Rev. Rod Corner and Rev. Glenn Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
