Bio
Nola May Robb, 68, of Boonville, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday morning, June 1, 2011. Visitation for Nola will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Sunday evening, June 5th, from 3:00 until 5:00 o'clock. Funeral services will be held at Davis Chapel on Monday, June 6, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Rodney Haggett officiating. Burial will follow at the Higbee cemetery. Nola May Robb was born in Bernie, MO, the daughter of Walter Lee Lamunion and Jocy Belle Irving Lamunion. Nola married Don Robb October 14th, 1990 in New Franklin, MO. They were owners of J.D. Auto Sales in Boonville for many years, until the time of her death, where Nola was secretary and book keeper as well as sales person. Nola was strictly business when needed; however she had a sense of humor that aided her in her dealings with people under any circumstances. Nola had a special relationship with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially three year old Renny. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends (gin rummy, poker, anything competitive) as well as going to the boat now and then. Nola is survived by her husband, Don, of the home, her son, Wayne 'C.W.' Howery and his wife Lisa of Boonville; step-daughters, Linda Thompson of Moberly and Carolyn Wear of Kansas City. Her sisters, Barb Gerke, of Boonville, Belle Davis, Campbell, MO, Marge Looney and Sue Bennett of Carrollton, MO and Mary Price of Jonesboro, AK. She also will be missed by her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to Ashley Manor Care Center.
