EMMA WESTON Funeral services were held Monday in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Chapel here for Mrs. Emma Lucindia Weston, 88, Wilburton, Okla., with the Rev Bob Duckworth officiating. Mrs. Weston, a former resident of the Thornfield area, died Thursday in Latimer County hospital at Wiburton. She was a member of the General Baptist Church and had lived in the Wilburton area the past three years. She was born at Theodosia on Nov. 30, 1889, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Friend Mahan. She was married on Sept. 25, 1912, at Theodosia to Silas Weston, who preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1970. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Helen Sadler, Elmore City, Okla., Mrs. Olive Christie, Red Oak, Okla., and Mrs. Elva Swearengin, Thornfield: three sons, Kenneth of Springfield, Archie of Wilburton, Okla., and Max of Dallas, Tex.: five sisters, Mrs. Lillie Wallace of Springfield, Mrs. Daisy Upton and Mrs. Jessie Johnson, both of Gainesville, Mrs. Brooksie McGinnis, Theodosia, and Mrs. Bessie Stevens of Yakima, Wash., and one brother, Callie Mahan, Theodosia: 27 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren. Burial was in Lutie Cemetery under the direction of Clinkinbeard of Gainesville. The pallbearers were Danny Weston, Dennis Weston, Don Weston, Ronnie Swearengin, Paul Farnsworth, and David Kincaid.
