Billie McCormick age 82 of Snyder, TX, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at her residence in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness. Services for Mrs. McCormick will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at East Side Church of Christ with Mr. Tom Holcomb, Mr. Don Browning, & Mr. Steve Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Mrs. McCormick was born on March 01, 1930 in Floydada, TX to Harry M. Miller and Edith Pliler and raised by E.A & Nell Rose Pliler. She married Bobby McCormick on Tuesday, May 30, 1950 in Abilene, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2010. She attended Abilene Christian College and was a member of the Martha Ann Women's Club. She was a member of the East Side Church of Christ and taught many bible classes. She is survived by: 1 Daughter - Marilyn Shaw & husband Lane , Lubbock, TX 1 Daughter In Law - Janie McCormick, Snyder, TX 1 Brother - Lawrence Stone & wife Eleanor, Lubbock, TX 2 Sisters in Law - Nona Pliler, San Angelo, TX Linda Heath, Salado, TX 4 Brothers in Law - Beecher McCormick & wife Joy , Abilene, TX Billy McCormick & wife JoAnn , Snyder, TX C.E McCormick Jr. & wife Barbara, Snyder, TX Keith McCormick & wife Frieda, Waco, TX 3 Grandchildren- Megan Cerda & husband Ted, Snyder, TX Matt McCormick & Shelley Fisk, Snyder, TX Erin Buck & husband Ken, Austin, TX Great Grandson- Zane Reda, Austin, TX Great Granddaughter- Kayla Buck, Austin, TX In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Mark McCormick, and 2 brothers; George Pliler and Evert Miller. No visitation is planned.
