Bio

Claude Zentz, was born at Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 26, 1906 to Artman and Carrie (Riddle) Zentz. He spent his early years in Council Bluffs before moving with his family to Valley County in 1918. He farmed until 1945, then he ran the creamery in Arcadia and later worked for the Middle Loup Irrigation District until his retirement. He married Margaret Landon on June 1, 1932 at Saint Paul. He was a member of the Arcadia Methodist Church. He and his wife lived in Arcadia since 1945. He died at age 88 in the fire which destroyed his home Thursday, July 14, 1994, along with his wife Margaret.
