Bio

Dorothy Helen White, 86, of Burwell, died Monday, May 30, 2011, at the Valley County Health Systems Hospital in Ord. Dorothy was born June 24, 1924, south of Ord to Archie I. and Mary Magdalene "Lena" (Loeffler) Dahlstedt. Dorothy married Elvis M. White of rural Burwell in Lincoln on Sept. 29, 1947. He died on Feb. 25, 2004. Survivors are: daughter, Bonnie and her husband, Don, Reinhard of Reno, Nev. Burial was in The Cottonwood Cemetery, Burwell, NE. Published in The Grand Island Independent on 6/1/2011
