Earl McCreight Sr. 83 of Moss Hill, died Sunday May 29, 2011 at ICON Hospital in Humble Texas. A native and resident of Moss Hill he had lived in the Liberty County area most of his life and was retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator for John McCreight Inc. of Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Helen McCreight, parents, Joe Dark McCreight and Eva Ann Booth McCreight and son J.W. Thibodeaux. He is survived by his sons Earl McCreight Jr and wife Tamara of Moss Hill, Bo McCreight and wife Candice of Madisonville TX, Bobby Lee Granger and wife Paula of Rose City. Daughters Helen Whitmire of Livingston, Edna Whitmire and husband Roy of Livingston, and Kathy Hoover of Onalaska. Brothers J.D. McCreight of Moss Hill, Sam McCreight of Livingston. sister Edith Madden of Moss Hill. Grandchildren: fifteen, Great grandchildren: twenty-one and Great-great grandchildren three. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson with Reverend Alan Owens officiating. Interment will follow at The Moss Hill cemetery of Moss Hill. The family will be receiving friends and guest on Tuesday May 31, 2011 from 5:00P.M. until 9:00P.M. in the chapel of Faith Family.
