Soldier in Civil War: C0. I, 58th Ind. Vol. William W. Hamilton died at his residence three miles southeast of Dayton last night of consumption. He was born in Clinton county, Indiana, November 5, 1845, and had lived near Clark's Hill all his life. He was a member of Co I Fifty-Eighth Regiment, Indiana Volunteers, during the Civil War. He was 60 years of age. He leaves a widow, three sons and there daughters. The funeral exercises will be held Saturday. There will be short services at the late residence, after which the remains will be taken to the Clark's Hill church, where the regular services will be held. The burial will be in Clark's Hill Cemetery.
