Hillsboro Evening Mirror January 31, 1947 Mrs. George Golden Funeral services for Mrs. George Golden, 62years of age who died at her home near Whitney Wednesday morning, were held at the Missionary Baptist Church in Whitney Thursday afternoon with the Rev. F.E. Weller officiating. Interment was in the Bethlehem Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Schoonover of Whitney, a son George Golden of Dalhart; two brothers, Guy Walling of Austin and Howard Walling of California; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Ellis of Whitney and Mrs. Jim Johnson of Hamlin and four grandchildren.
