Bio

August Hasse, aged 79 years, a pioneer of Lincoln, died yesterday evening at his home, 1317 S street, after an illness of six months. Mr. and Mrs. Hasse came from Illinois to Nebraska 37 years ago and settled at Fremont. They have lived in Lincoln 33 years. In addition to the wife who survives him there are the following children: Mrs. Fred Schmidt, Mrs. Henry Schmidt, Mrs. G. A. Hagensick, Mrs. Henry Burleigh, Miss Martha Hasse, all of Lincoln, and Mrs. Emil Eichblatt of Texas. Notice of the funeral will be made later.
