Obit from Fremont Tribune Charles May The funeral for Charles B. May, 72, of Fremont will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. He died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at Fremont Area Medical Center. He was born April 23, 1932, in Fremont and lived most of his life here. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1950. He attended Midland Lutheran College, graduating in 1955. He became a teacher and taught in Beemer and then Elkhorn. He then came back to Fremont High and taught bookkeeping there for 19 years. He married Patricia Bouer on Aug. 12, 1952. She preceded him in death May 3, 1989. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include: five sons, Shawn (and wife, Susie) May of Fremont, Rory (and wife, Robyne) May of Bradon, Fla., Brian May of Kansas City, Mo., Mike (and wife, Janet) May of Glenwood, Iowa, and Darren May of Fremont; a daughter, Lori (Mrs. Dave) Wilkinson of Omaha; and 13 grandchildren. A wake service will be 7 p.m. today at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials have been established to the Fremont Family YMCA and Fremont Area Medical Center Foundation.
