Bio

The Carnegie Herald, Wed., July 5, 1944 Southworth Rites At Siloam Springs David M. Southworth, resident of the community south of Carnegie for 14 years, died at his home in Delaware county, Oklahoma, near Siloam Springs, Ark., June 12. He had been in ill health several years. Burial was at Siloam Springs. Mr. Southworth was born in Fulton county, Ark., Jan. 17, 1874. From Arkansas the family moved to Texas and then to Oklahoma 29 years ago. The family moved from Carnegie to Siloam Springs four years ago. Survivors include the wife at the home address, three sons, W.A., A.C. and W.T. Southworth, all of Siloam Springs, four daughters, Mrs. Edith Kennington, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Ina Mae Love, Los Angeles; Mrs. Dora McCain, Quanah, Texas, and Mrs. Ruby Dyer of this place. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. All of the children attended the funeral rites.
